There is some confusion on 3 terms Flame retardent or fire retardent rugs or Fire Resistant Rugs.
I must say that these are one and the same thing. When we talk of handtufted woolen rugs or handknotted woolen rugs, the parameters are that when the fire falls on the carpet, it should not spread.
As i have discussed earlier today, that we have the chemical where after use of which the flame will not spread on rugs, so its always required to have Flame retardent or fire retardent rugs for everywehere, may be for hotels, villas anywhere.
