There are 2 different ways of making patch rugs in flatwoven, one is cut small-small rugs in different sizes, and stitch them together, and other is weaving on loom the rug in such a way that it looks like patch. In latter case the rug is stitched from upside, which shows that the pcs are stitched, but actually these stitches are just as part of design.
